Check-In at the All Star Movie Resort, Disney

Journaling- Thursday, May 1st
Today we left Mom and Dad's for Disney after breakfast. In the meantime the rest of our family was flying out of Akron-Canton Airport at 8:30 this morning. It took us about 2hrs. to get here. We beat the rest of the clan and checked into our hotel. Soon after we got things settled in, everyone else arrived. We had a very cute little room on the second floor of the Dalmatian 4 hotel. It was very close to the huge Fantasia swimming pool, another small Mighty Duck swimming pool and also close to the main lobby area with the food court, gift shop and bus pick-up. The Fantasia swimming pool was very neat. It had the Magician Mickey standing on a rock with streams of water flowing out into the pool. The hotel stairs were encased in huge fire hydrants and a huge Purdy and Pongo were in the courtyard as well a small Dalmatian watching a television that was open in the middle so you could stand in it to get your picture taken. All in all it was a fun, clean, beautiful atmosphere.

Our Hotel Map.

Random pictures at the hotel from when we all first arrived.

Going to see greet the rest of the family! Yeah everyones here!

Chilli'n at the Pool... This is one of my favorites!

SWIMMING!!! Before heading to any of the parks we decided to chill at the pool for a little while to unwind from the trip there.
I snuck up on Tracie as she was laying out and poured water on her :)

The kids had a blast swimming. They <3'd the pool!

Courtney's Baby Scrapbook!!!!

I am SoooOo excited! I started on Courtney's Baby Scrapbook the other day.

Here are a few pages I have done.

This is the first page in the album. It has a poem that is a message from me to her. The picture on the page is her Hospital picture.
The second page is the one and only ultrasound of my pregnancy.
This is Courtney's very first picture. This was taken when she was about 10 seconds old. In fact I had a Kodac disk camera that went on the frits as soon as mom snapped this picture. We thought we lost it for sure. Thanks to God, it did take. Oh, BTW-This is the old days, I didn't get to have her in a cushy "birthing" room, this was an operating room, and she came so fast Dr. Samson was barely in the room!

Scout Project!

ENGINEERING! The Make-A-Bridge Project.
Brock's Cub Scout pack is studing Engineering. For one of their projects they were to build a bridge. The bridges will be tested to see which one can hold the most bricks. Brock designed and built his bridge with very minimal help. His Dad showed him how to use a saw and then held the safety as Brocks hands were to small to hold it in and run the saw as well. He then used the drill to screw in his legs that he cut and after he spray painted it.
Great job on your bridge Brock!
I love this picture.
I can see the pride of accomplishment!

Scrapbook Pages!!!!

Ok, So I havn't posted in like forever! Now I am tryong to get some serious scrapbooking done for Courtney's Graduation Party. Here are a few of the Pages I have completed. My style is Simple, but I love it!

This is Courtney's Kindergarten picture. The year was 1995-1996. Her teacher was Mrs. Birney. I loves this little fruitcoverd dress!

I love this one as well. Courtney in YMCA T-ball. This is her team and her stat cards!

This is Courtney's 2nd Grade picture, it was taken in the Spring of 1998. (The year Brock was born) Anyhow something special about this picture is Courtney wore her Minnie Mouse sweatsuit and her teacher is a Mickey, Minnie freak!!! I love this page!

Courtney's Third Grade Picture was taken at Sears rather than at school. She looks like a little princess.

This is another one of my FAVORITE pages!! Courtney's last year at Dover South. I just Love it!

The Grade Pages start a new year in her scrapbook album. I have tons to do however, I have all the grades done except 2 more extra pics. I am sooo excited to be scrapbooking again. I totally LOVE!

Ice Storm of 2009

These are a few pictures of the snow and ice from the last couple of days. The first one was taken at night. I just love to watch the snow fall. I lay in bed at night and look our my window to the beautiful winter nights...

I think we got some ice...

Brock found this HUGE icesicle hanging from our front porch today... He turned it into a "Ice Saber".

This is his "Master Yoda" picture...
I'm gonna get you...
